As a Design & Brand Strategy intern on E! Entertainment’s Creative Marketing team, I contributed to logo development for 2 new releases — a reality show starring Snoop Dogg and Julia Fox’s competition series OMG Fashun — and my work was selected as the official identity for both. While Snoop’s show is currently under NDA, OMG Fashun premiered on E! in 2024.
OMG Fashun follows "disrupters" crafting looks intended to make "fashion's gatekeepers squirm," so I wanted to create a logo that walked the line between glamor and chaos. I began with a classic Art Deco typeface to connect the logo to luxury and spectacle, then manually exaggerated curves, angles, and proportions to create an "OMG" that felt expressive but could scale.
A month into my internship, I was asked to collaborate with a senior Art Director on logos for Snoop’s new show. We each sketched directions independently, then presented in critique, and refined based on feedback from the Creative Director and VP of Creative. What began as a creative exercise became one of the highlights of my internship when my work was selected as the show’s official identity.
Following that success, I was invited to contribute to logo development for OMG Fashun. Like with Snoop’s show, I explored multiple directions, presented sketches alongside full-time artists and designers, and refined through critique. Several rounds of logo development, my work was chosen as OMG Fashun’s final logo.
